The Malta Neuroscience Network is organising the second brain awareness week, a national campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research in Malta. This year Brain Awareness Week will be held between 13 and 19 March, during which various activities will be organised.
Activities include a public lecture by Professor Fiorenzo Conti on neurogastronomy, to be delivered on Monday 13 March at the Istituto Italiano Cultura at 18:30, a lecture on the brain by Dr Chris Zammit, a discussion on chronic pain by Dr Andrew Agius and Professor Giuseppe Di Giovanni, lectures on the motor cortex by Professor Giacomo Rizzolatti and a number of student lab visits. A more detailed programme will be available soon.
