The Doctoral School, in collaboration with academic and higher education staff across the University, has designed a series of workshops for doctoral researchers related to generic and transferable skills.
The workshop sessions are approximately three hours long and are being held in the morning/afternoon and in the evening to facilitate attendance. A Doctoral Symposium is also being organised in January to support networking and the sharing of research and research practices among fellow doctoral researchers and academics. A call for abstracts will be announced shortly.
Applications are open between Thursday 20 September and Friday 5 October. Researchers can register for the workshops (either morning/afternoon or evening) and the symposium through the eSIMS portal. It is important that prospective applicants register only if they are able to attend and if they are willing to participate actively in the workshop/s. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
