For the 8th consecutive year, Universal Biotech, a contract service organisation in the health care sector launches its call for The Innovation Prize. This prize awards young start-ups (<8 years old) and academic research groups developing innovative projects in the field of Life Sciences (biotechnology, diagnostics, m/e-health applications, medical technology products and services).
The call for projects is open until 30 April 2016. Through our adapted 'Open Innovation' web platform, participants will be able to easily submit their projects by filling an application providing information on the 5 following selection criteria:
- Scientific quality of the innovation
- Team quality
- Intellectual Property strategy
- Project feasibility
- Chances of success on the market.
After 3 rounds of selection managed by an international board of jury experts, the awards ceremony will take place during the Innovation Days 2016, the only recurrent Life Sciences event in Paris combining high-quality conferences and business convention, on 3 and 4 October at the Maison de la Chimie. For this edition, the topics will be Open Innovation, Strategic Alliances & Investments, Digital Transformation of Health, and Market Access.
The Innovation Prize is a healthcare key event and an international showcase for Life Sciences companies and innovative projects.
