The first Blue Economy Business and Science Forum – Hamburg Summit will be held on 12 and 13 September, 2016. Leaders and professionals who are passionate about the Blue Economy will examine opportunities and barriers to innovation while celebrating scientific and industrial achievements.
The event consists of two full days of inspiring talks and discussions at the International Maritime Museum, Hamburg, including key note speeches from EU Commissioner for Research, Innovation, and Science Carlos Moedas and EU Commissioner for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Karmenu Vella. The Blue Economy Business Awards 2016 will also be hosted during the Summit's Gala Dinner which aims to showcase the excellent practices from industry and to recognise and reward individuals and organisations that have made a specific contribution to developing innovation in the Blue Economy.
