The Social Innovation Challenge: Enable and Engage was launched on April 20, 2016. The aim of this competition is to encourage individuals and groups of any age to identify areas where the quality of life of persons with disability or the elderly may improve. Prospective participants are encouraged to generate solutions for these areas for improvement and propose their ideas. There is no age limit for participation in this competition.
A prize of €2,000 will be awarded to the winning entry while €500 will be awarded to the runner up.

Proposals are to the submitted in person on 14 October at the Secretariat for Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing. Ministry for the Family and Social Solidarity, Palazzo Ferreria, Republic Street, Valletta.
The competition is organised by the Edward de Bono Institute, within thin University of Malta, and the Secretariat for Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing with the support of MAPFRE Middlesea and MSV Life.
