The Italian Government is offering 9 monthly scholarships, carrying an allowance of €900/month each, for the following type of courses: Undergraduate University courses(renewals only), Postgraduate University courses, Master’s Degree courses(Levels I or II), Ph.D. Courses, Specialisation Schools, Research under academic supervision, Courses of Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance(AFAM), Advanced Courses on Italian language and Culture Courses for teachers of Italian as second language. These scholarships are to be availed of during the academic year 2017/18. Detailed information can be found online.

All online applications must be submitted by midnight on May 10, 2017. It is being underlined that only applications through this system will be considered.
Candidates between the age of 18 and 36 years may apply..
A copy of the application is to be sent also to the Scholarship Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This can be either posted, faxed, sent by email or one can use the Scholarships website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Successful candidates may be required to enter into a contract to serve the Government or the Private Sector of Malta upon completion of the scholarship.
Applications from Government and Parastatal employees and from the Private Sector will not be considered unless recommended by their Head of Department/Employer respectively.
