The Valletta 2018 Foundation’s annual conference, ‘Living Cities, Liveable Spaces: Placemaking & Identity’ will take place between the 22 and 24 November in Valletta.
The fourth in the Valletta 2018 Foundation's series of annual international conferences explores the interplay between cultural diplomacy, place branding and liveability, particularly in light of large public events such as the European Capital of Culture. These issues will be debated within the context of citizen engagement and sustainable city development. Conference themes include: (i) creative diplomacy, (ii) branding a liveable city, (iii) challenging times and (iv) future cities. We are planning a varied programme which includes a number of working sessions, besides the more traditional plenary and parallel sessions, as well as a rich networking programme on all three days.
University of Malta academic staff and their students are encouraged to attend .Further information may be found on the conference website.
