The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is an intergovernmental organisation based in Singapore which promotes understanding and cooperation between the people and institutions of both continents. In the field of education, the ASEF focuses on higher education collaboration, LLL and youth leadership. One of its flagship projects is the ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU), a 2-week experiential learning journey and 'Interdisciplinary Innovathon' to foster cross-cultural exchanges and networks among the ASEM youth.
ASEFSU takes place annually, each year tackling a different theme of socio-political concern within Asia and Europe. The project offers students and young professionals the unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge on contemporary issues and propose concrete solutions to societal challenges.
