The 2018 Summer School of the Malta Review of Educational Research within in the Faculty of Education is entitled 'Collaborative Writing for 21st Century Skills'. This is an intensive 5-day collaborative writing experience for educators. The Summer School will be held from Monday 3 to Friday 7 September from 08:30 to 13:00 at the University of Malta Msida Campus.
The key strategies that are employed are: collaborative writing process, multimodal learning, and writing for social transformation with reference to the seminal work of Don Lorenzo Milani.
The Summer School is a mix of practical workshops and reflective discussion sessions led by some of the most experienced practitioners in their fields. The workshop moderators include Prof. Carmel Borg, Dr Sandro Spiteri Ed.D. Jane Farrugia Buhagiar EO, Dr Mario Cardona Ph.D., Dr George Cremona Ph.D. and Maria Pace.
