Topic: A Ph.D. in Criminology
Designing a study for affecting social change does not constitute a straightforward task. Neither is it a linear approach towards instant success. However, striving towards change in the real and virtual societies serves as a veritable platform for intensive and fruitful research.
Rapidly morphing societies, a dynamic socio-political construct, fast-paced economies, diversified family structures, an evolving criminological reality, new forms of poverty and diverse paths towards equality and equity are but a few areas for advanced research.
The Faculty for Social Wellbeing, through the Dr Jacqueline Azzopardi Scholarship Grant, seeks change-oriented potential applicants committed to seek Ph.D. studies in the social wellbeing domains, with emphasis on the enhancement of safety and security, wellbeing and the betterment of society.
A letter of intent as per the Faculty Doctoral Degree Guidelines is to be presented following which the ad hoc board might decide to call potential candidates for an interview.
Letter of Intent needs to be submitted by Monday10 December.
Terms and conditions apply.
