SMART Summer School 'Understanding marine hydrogeology through the lens of geophysics: Bridging the gap across the coastal zone.'
Applications are now being accepted for the SMART Summer School 'Understanding marine hydrogeology through the lens of geophysics: Bridging the gap across the coastal zone' to be held at the University of Malta from 30 June to 5 July 2019.
The school is jointly organised by GEOMAR and the University of Malta through the SMART MARCAN projects.
Registration fee: EUR 500
This will cover the costs of accommodation, breakfasts, social events, lab and software fees, course materials, and transportation for a one-day field excursion.
For students applying from low income countries, please indicate in your application that you would like to be considered for travel assistance.
Application
First, please enter your name, your intent to apply, and your email address in the online registration form. Once you click send this will generate an email that will be sent to us. We will then respond to your registration by email with instructions on sending us your motivation letter and CV. To apply please prepare the following:
- A motivation letter highlighting your current work and reasons why you would like to attend the School. This should be no more than 300 words and may include 1 table or figure if applicable. If accepted this will form the basis of your presentation at the School.
- A short 2-page CV. The Summer School is targeting both Master’s and PhD students.
