The Italian Government is offering 9 monthly scholarships, carrying an allowance of EUR 900 each. The grants, which will be assigned for a period of study in Italy ranging from 3,6 or 9 months, are offered for the following type of courses: Master’s Degrees courses, Ph.D. Courses, Research under academic supervision, Courses of Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance (AFAM) and courses of Italian language and Culture. These scholarships are to be availed of during the academic year 2019/20. Detailed information can be accessed online.

Applicants are requested to fill in the appropriate online form.
The deadline for those students who are trying to apply, has once again been postponed to Wednesday 12 June at 14:00 (instead of 7 June 2019 as had been previously announced). It is being underlined that only applications through this system will be considered.
A copy of the application must also be forwarded to the Scholarship Section of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion. This can be submitted personally to the Scholarships Section or through the Scholarships website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion.
Successful candidates may be required to enter into a contract to serve the Government or the Public Sector of Malta upon completion of the scholarship.
Applications from Government and Parastatal employees and from the Private Sector will not be considered unless recommended by their Head of Department/Employer respectively.
The Board’s decision will be final.
