The Programme in the Liberal Arts and Sciences (PLAS) offered by the Centre for the Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) at the University of Malta is an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.
By means of this flexible programme, students can opt to follow stand-alone study-units from a wide array of topics in the arts and sciences. This allows students to study at their own pace and they can also accumulate credits to achieve a Certificate, a Diploma, a Higher Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, without any limits of time.
This year CLAS will be offering Eighteen units during Semester 1 of 2021/22, starting in October 2021. Lectures are held from 18:00 to 20:00 once a week for each of the subjects which cover topics in the areas of sociology, opera, music, nature photography, beekeeping, the biology of well-being, viticulture and others.
Applicants are free to choose any and as many units as they wish from the list of PLAS units offered this year. Visit the CLAS website to get to know all the details about the study-units and their fees.
Applications are now open until 20 September 2021.
