Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of € 95.5 billion 2021-2027.
European Research Council (ERC grants)
This programme is divided into 3 categories of grants. In addition, ERC Proof of concept Grants are open for current ERC projects to obtain additional funding for bringing their results
to market. Only the ERC Advanced grant call is open at the moment however the next ERC Starting grant call is expected to be published very soon, with tentative dates below:
ERC Starting Grant: € 1.5 million over 5 years for researchers with 2-7 years post-PhD experience - Tentative publication 12/07/2022, Tentative deadline 25/10/2022
ERC Consolidator Grant: € 2 million over 5 years for researchers with 7-12 years post-PhD experience - Tentative publication 28/09/2022, Tentative deadline 2/2/2023
ERC Advanced Grants: €2.5 million over 5 years for researchers with over 12 years post-PhD experience - Tentative publication 8/12/2022, Tentative deadline 23/5/2023

ERA Talents - NEW PROGRAMME expected to be published in Autumn 2022 for the very first time!
The ERA Talents action aims to boost interoperability of careers and employability of research and innovation talents across sectors, with a center of gravity in widening countries. Towards a more balanced circulation of talents, both trans-nationally and across sectors, ERA Talents aims to support training and mobility of research and innovation staff across sectors with a particular focus on widening countries.

Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions
Post-doctoral Fellowships - opportunity to host a pre-identified Post-Doctoral Fellow from anywhere in the world for 2 years, all expenses covered!
