How can we imagine a better future for our society? And how can we meaningfully work together to achieve that future? These were some of the questions asked during the 4 year Erasmus+ project called SciCulture, which culminated in the creation of an online CourseKit for transdisciplinary course design.
SciCulture’s CourseKit was created as a playful tool for educators. It helps to design courses that bring together people from different disciplines and challenges them to work together on ‘wicked problems’. These courses can range from a 2-hour workshop to a semester-long course, to even a whole master's. The CourseKit combines approaches from Design Thinking, and is cemented by the creative pedagogies developed in the CREATIONS project. The overall intention is to help CourseKit players design a more creative and transdisciplinary course.
The CourseKit is being implemented and optimised by the continuation project SciCultureD. The tool is completely free and available on our website.
Here, you can also find detailed instructions on how to use the kit, some helpful tips, a glossary, examples taken directly from SciCulture’s courses and a list of academic evidence from the partner organisations.
Print a board and a set of cards or use our fully digital version online and start your co-creative journey for meaningful and creative educational experiences.
