The Department of Information Policy & Governance is pleased to announce a training program on Digital Resilience to Disinformation developed under the DOMINOES project. The program is designed to equip academic staff and researchers with essential skills and knowledge to address the challenges posed by disinformation and information manipulation. The training will be held from the 11 to the 15 of September at the University of Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (Spain).
Aim of the training:
The primary goal of this training is to provide participants with an understanding of the information environment from a security perspective. The training will familiarise participants with the complexities of disinformation and information manipulation. It aims to empower participants to develop strategies and implement measures to effectively address and combat disinformation.
Eligibility:
This training opportunity is tailored for academic staff and researchers who are interested in the field of disinformation, offering them a chance to expand their knowledge and expertise in this area.
Financial support:
Travel expenses for selected participants will be covered through the DOMINOES project. Participants will also be provided with a Daily Subsistence Allowance in line with Erasmus+ guidelines.
Application process:
Academic staff and researchers who wish to participate should express their interest by sending an email to Dr Aitana Radu , keeping in cc Ana Ćuća and Kanchi Ganatra. The deadline for submitting applications is 20 June 2023. Final participation will be confirmed by end July based on availability.
