In preparation for the Christmas season, and following the successful contributions collected in previous years, the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences is once again taking the initiative to collect food items to be donated to the Valletta Foodbank.

Listed below is a list of items which are regularly needed by the Foodbank:

• milk (UHT)
  
• fruit juice (UHT)
  
• cooking oil
  
• tinned tomatoes
  
• baked beans
  
• kunserva / tomato paste
  
• passata
  
• tinned fruit
  
• tinned vegetables
  
• tinned meat
  
• tinned Fish
  
• pasta, rice, couscous, noodles
  
• soup (tinned or packet)
  
• breakfast cereal
  
• biscuits or snack bars
  
• tea bags
  
• instant coffee
  
• sugar
  
• jam (not homemade)
  
• instant mashed potato.

Anyone interested in contributing towards this just cause is kindly requested to deposit any items in a box that will be made available at the Faculty's Reception Desk, on level 3. Those wishing to contribute monetary donations are kindly requested to contact Marvic Cuschieri. 

Collection will take place until Friday 30 of November, and will be delivered to the Foodbank sometime in December.
