As some of you may know, the Student Solidarity Fund [Intranet] provides interim financial support to students experiencing hardship, helping them remain enrolled until they regain stability or access state assistance. Over the years, the fund has enabled many students to complete their tertiary education as indicated below. Our goal is to ensure that financial difficulties do not prevent any student from finishing their studies at the University of Malta.
The fund is sustained through regular monthly contributions or one-time donations from our staff members. All donations are managed by a Senate-approved committee, which reviews each case presented by UM’s social workers to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
How You Can Contribute:
Prof. Carmen Sammut, Pro-Rector for Student and Staff Affairs at the University of Malta, warmly invites all UM personnel to support this important cause in one of the following ways:
Managing Your Contribution
If you wish to change or stop your contribution at any time, simply send an email, and we will handle the adjustment for you.
