The Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics (CING) under a Memorandum of Cooperation, provide the opportunity for up to three (3) postgraduate (MSc) scholarships to Maltese nationals, for the academic year 2026-2027. The scholarships are offered to applicants who are accepted according to the CING entry requirements, following the evaluation of their academic qualifications and a personal interview.
Available MSc Proqrammes funded by this Scholarship Scheme:
1. MSc in Molecular Medicine
2. MSc in Medical Genetics
3. MSc in Neuroscience
4. MSc in Biotechnology
Each scholarship includes:
• Full tuition fees (€8,000)
• A stipend of up to €1,000 per month for 12 months to support accommodation and living expenses in Cyprus.
All successful applicants will be informed of the final amount upon acceptance.
Minimum Entry Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in a related field.
• High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• English Language Proficiency — Regardless of whether previous studies were conducted in English, applicants must provide one of the following:
IELTS (Academic) — Minimum overall score: 6
TOEFL iBT - Minimum score: 85 (Home Edition not accepted)
Cambridge IGCSE — English as a Second Language - Minimum score: C
• Two Academic References
