Event: Guided Visit to the Parliament of Malta for International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, staff and students are invited to a special one-hour guided tour of the Parliament of Malta in Valletta.
This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the work carried out within Malta’s highest decision-making institution and to better understand how Members of Parliament contribute to shaping national policy.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet two female Members of Parliament, Hon. Rebecca Buttigieg, Parliamentary Secretary for Equality and Reforms and Hon. Graziella Attard Previ, Spokesperson for Equality, Civil Liberties and Public Broadcasting. They will share insights into their responsibilities and experiences - offering a valuable perspective on the role of women within national decision-making fora.
Transport will depart from the University of Malta Carpark 5 (near MaltaPost Office) towards the Parliament of Malta on Monday, 9 March at 12:00 noon on a first-come, first-served basis against a EUR 5 contribution per participant.
Tickets are available from the Office for Human Resources Management and Development, Administration Building, First Floor, Room 216A.
Tickets are non-refundable. For any cancellations, tickets are to be returned to HR.

For security reasons, and as instructed by Parliament personnel, all attendees must provide their full name, surname, and ID number upon collecting their ticket from HR.
The ID Card also needs to be presented on the day of the visit.
