Alice in Wonderland’s 150th Birthday Tea Party

 Sunday 22 November 2015, 1600hrs onwards

Palazzo De Piro, Mdina

You are invited to attend a tea party full of fun and animation.

All this in the beautiful setting of the ‘Sala Panoramica’ at Palazzo de Piro in Triq Is Sur, Mdina.

An experience not to be missed!

While you are enjoying tea and cakes, students from the School of Performing Arts will entertain you by reading out excerpts from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and playing music related to Alice.

Lecturers will be giving three-minute presentations about various aspects of Alice and her creator, Lewis Carroll, in relation to games theory, philosophy,  mathematics and more…

Added to all this entertainment, a make-up artist will be available for face-painting inspired by characters from the books. Both children and adults are welcome to engage her services.

Audience members who may wish to participate more actively may take part in the readings, or choose their own.

So come along and enjoy yourselves and bring your family and friends!

There are a limited number of seats and therefore purchasing tickets early is highly encouraged! For bookings contact Mr Stefan Sacco

 White

White is a performance about space, or the absence of it.

Once upon a time, characters were in search of an author. Today they are in search of a space. The characters, played by the students of the School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta, are lost in a corridor in-between places. Around them all is empty.  A void. Like a vault, all they have is…White!
