Dr Stefan Aquilina   
Stefan-AquilinaAquilina is a lecturer within the Theatre Studies Department of the University of Malta, where he delivers courses about theatre and performance history, theory, and practice. His main area of research is post-revolutionary Russian and early Soviet theatre, especially the work of Stanislavsky and Meyerhold, and the transmission across cultures of their training processes. He is additionally interested in everyday life theories, especially those developed by Henri Lefebvre and Michel de Certeau, and their application to performance. Aquilina also acts as the School’s Area Director of Research, and is on the international Editorial Board of the Stanislavski Studies journal (Routledge).
