Welcome to the University of Malta's Placement Scheme

Your studies are very important to help you develop as a person and in preparation for life after university. However, employers often feel that fresh graduates need to be better primed for the work environment. New graduates are often asked to show that they have relevant work experience, when applying for their first job.

Benefitsimage

  • identify your strengths and weaknesses and acquire work experience that will enhance your skills
  • gain insight into the world of work in general as well as your potential future employers. This will help you take better informed decisions about your future career
  • learn the 'language' of industry and business
Identify your preferred working style and work environment
  • apply concepts and principles learnt through your studies to the requirements of your work environment
  • demonstrate that you have the capacity and the willingness to undertake a range of duties required for employment
  • get official recognition for your work placement by the University of Malta through the DegreePlus programme. Your placement will be listed in your official academic transcript.

Interested? Have a look at the placements on offer and apply.
