Visit by Japanese Scholars from Hitotsubashi University

A group of scholars headed by Professor Hiroshi Kato from Hitotsubashi University, will be organising a workshop in Malta, on the theme "Multiculturalism in the Mediterrenean World" between 30 August and 5 September.

Hitotsubashi University is one of the more prestigious universities in Japan. The scholars are visiting Malta on the invitation of Professor Lino Briguglio who has the longstanding connection with this University. They all belong to Mediterrenean Studies Group of Hitotsubashi University.

The themes of the Workshop include the following:
