At this conference, Ms. Clark, the RSO working on the CONFORM project, presented a study titled \u201cTowards Sustainable Injection Moulding Using 3D Printed Conformal Cooling Channels: A Comparative Simulation Study\u201d. This study explored the effect of the mould insert thermal conductivity on the effectiveness and efficiency of the injection moulding cooling phase from a sustainability point of view. This takes into account not only the change in cooling time but also any changes in the resulting part quality, as well as the economic and environmental implications. Accompanying Ms. Clark at the conference were two of the four co-authors of this study, Prof. Arif Rochman and Dr. Ing. Pierre Vella. Prof. Arif Rochman is a member of the scientific committee at ACEX and was also an invited speaker. Ms. Clark presented the development of the case study part designed specifically for this study, along with the benchmark cooling channels designed to be later compared to the novel CCCs to be developed. Also presented was the basis of a study carried out to be presented at a later stage at the 16<sup>th<\/sup> International Conference on Advanced Computational Engineering and Experimenting (ACEX).
