STSMs will be evaluated on an on-going basis, up until 31st January, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Purpose of STSM:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n STSM facilitates researchers from COST Countries participating in CA17115 to go to an institution, organisation or research centre in another participating COST Country to foster collaboration. Participation of \u201cEarly Career Investigators\u201d (ECI) in STSM is particularly encouraged. The ECI is an individual who is within a time span of up to 8 years from the date they obtained their PhD\/doctorate (full-time equivalent). PhD students are also eligible to participate in STSMs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Specific information concerning STSM<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n The duration of a STSM should be between 5 days and 90 days (and up to 180 days if the applicant is an ECI \u2013 see definition of ECI above).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The financial support is a contribution to the overall expenses incurred during the STSM and may not necessarily cover all the costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The following funding conditions apply and must be respected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Financial support is limited to cover travel, accommodation and meal expenses and is paid in the form of a Grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n STSM submission and approval procedure<\/p>\n\n\n\n Call for STSMs will take in three applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Those interested in hosting a STSM but without a candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Those interested in participating in a STSM, but without a host institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Those interested in participating in a STSM who already agreed with a host institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
