Loridana terminated with success a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Communication Therapy in 2017. In the second and third year of her studies, she received the Dean’s Award from the University of Malta in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement. As part of her undergraduate studies, she studied at Thomas More University in Antwerp (Belgium). Following the degree, she began practising as a speech-language pathologist.

Loridana is currently reading for a Master of Science in Communication Therapy. She has joined the SPEECHIE project as a full-time researcher and is working on evaluating the reliability and validity of the novel bilingual smart device for Maltese children with speech-sound disorders.

Roles/duties in the project: To carry out research tasks in the M.Sc. by Research, with a focus on speech-sound disorders, particularly on the speech assessment and intervention aspects of the device.
