Housing for the modern world

By now we have all learned that the world's fossil fuels are being depleted and we need to find ways to save energy in our daily lives. One way of doing this is by making sure that we construct our buildings in ways which conserve energy.

In X-Lab this week we meet two scientists who are researching the best materials and construction methods to do this. We also meet an architect who's job it is to design buildings to best meet people's needs. In the studio the students find out about the power of atmospheric pressure.
