ERC starter grant:
early stage researchers of any nationality and got their Ph.D. in the last 2-7 years are eligible. Funding is of €1.5 million for a duration of 5 years and the grant covers 100% of all eligible costs.
ERC consolidator grant: established researchers that got their Ph.D. in the last 7-12 years are eligible. The maximum fund is €2 million over a period of 5 years and covers 100% of all eligible costs.
ERC advanced grant: well-established researchers looking for long-term funding to pursue a ground breaking, high-risk project can consider this highly competitive grant. The principle investigator applying for this call is expected to have a track-record of significant research achievements in the last 10 years. Funding can reach a maximum of €2.5 million over a period of 5 years and covers 100% of all eligible costs.
