Chemistry MSc Seminar Series

Seminars in the Chemistry MSc Seminar Series are presented by MSc students in partial fulfillment of their CHE5005 unit. The target audience is staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students.

The programme for 2017 runs on Wednesdays starting from 14 February at 1400 hrs in the Chemistry Lecture Room.

EuCheMS Policy Workshop - From Waste to Health

05 April

This event will look into questions such as

  • What are the possibilities of a circular economy approach to the pharmaceutical sector?
  • Are the current EU legislative proposals looking into all the possibilities that chemistry has to offer to circular economy?
  • Which solutions are already being implemented in this field?

Chemistry Careers Event

07 April

The Department of Chemistry in collaboration with S-cubed, Medichem Malta Ltd., Aurobindo, Pharmacare Premium Ltd,  the Department of Education, the Faculty of Education and the Environment and Resource Authority.

The main event will be in the KSU Common Room between 1400 - 1700 hrs. Aurobindo will be giving a corporate presentation at 1530 hrs in the Chemistry Lecture Room.
