After completing his undergraduate dissertation on the performance of a Regional Climate Model (PRECIS) with regards to its chemistry model, and reading a B.Sc. (Hons) course in Physics and Chemistry, James Ciarlo` decided to follow a research career in Climatology with the Department of Physics at the UoM. In the summer of 2010 he worked with Dr. Noel Aquilina, and Mr. Norbert Bonnici to set up the CRG, and participated in an international Climate Research Workshop at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in September 2010. He is now reading a Ph.D. with the Department of Geosciences.
