DESCRIPTION - Newton’s laws of motion:

    - Cartesian coordinates:
          - Motion in a straight line and a plane,
          - Projectiles,
          - Simple harmonic motion;

    - Intrinsic coordinates:
          - The catenary,
          - The cycloid,
          - The isochronous pendulum;

    - Plane polar coordinates:
          - Central forces,
          - Binary systems,
          - Disturbed orbits and pedal coordinates;

    - Principle of conservation of energy:
          - Conservative forces,
          - Equivalent conditions,
          - Examples:
                - Orbital motion,
                - Motion on a surface under gravity;

    - Many-particle systems:
          - Motion of centroid,
          - Angular momentum and moment of force;

    - Rotational motion:
          - Rotation of a rigid body about a fixed axis,
          - Bodies rolling in a straight line;

    - Impulsive motion.
