Ilwien Childcare Centre opened its doors on 21 October 2013 in order to make it easier for parents and guardians of pre-school children to study or work at the Junior College and to serve as a centre for research in Child Development & Early Childhood Education. Today, the general public may also avail itself of this service.
At Ilwien, a maximum of 24 children can be accommodated, and currently there are 4 groups. In the Early Years Setting, the ratio of adults to children are of a maximum of 6 children to an adult in the case of children over 18 months, or else 5 children between 13 months and 2 years.
Parents or guardians interested in enrolling their children need to complete the official registration form, which is conveniently accessible online. This registration form remains open throughout the year, allowing parents or guardians to submit it at any time.
