It-Tajra Childcare Centre

It-Tajra Childcare Centre started operating in April 1996 in order to make it easier for parents and guardians of pre-school age children to study or work on Campus and to serve as a centre for research in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. This centre is located at the Msida Campus. Today, the general public may also avail itself of this service. 

At It-Tajra, a maximum of 30 children can be accommodated, and currently there are 5 groups named Koalas, Lions, Bears, Crocodiles, and Monkeys. In the Early Years Setting, the ratio of adults to children are of a maximum of 6 children to an adult in the case of children over 18 months, or else 5 children between 13 months and 2 years.
