Therapeutic Applications of Recent Research in Human Sexuality and Sex Therapy


The Department of Family Studies within the Faculty for Social WellBeing at the University of Malta announces a two-day seminar on Sex Therapy.

This continuous development seminar will be delivered by specialists in the area of sex therapy and research on sexuality.  They will address fundamental issues in human sexuality and sexual research and how these are applied in clinical practice. The seminar will also focus on assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunctions according to the DSM 5. 

The Department of Family Studies would like to invite academics as well as professionals in the areas of family therapy, psychotherapy, psychiatry, counselling, psychology, social work, health sciences and medicine to attend.  Students are also welcome.

The course will be held on the 15th December at the Psychology Lab OH and 16th December at DGZ103 at the University of Malta Main Campus at Msida and it shall run from 0830hrs to 1545hours.

The cost for the entire seminar is 75 euros and the student rate is 50 euros.
