Jobmatching Education and Profession in Europe, from Norway

Research and innovation

Objective 1.2: Improving innovation delivery policies

Published: 15/05/2017

About the project

In this project we want to develop a cooperation between some selected European countries on how to improve the match between personal characteristics, competence, cognitive abilities, experiences, education and occupational interests in relation to education and labour market.

We want to establish a European system with a common database for vocational profiles. The system will include facilitating tools where education and job seekers can map and match their own job prospects and wish for education. It will give possibilities for matching employment opportunities across European countries.

Today there is no such system in Europe. We believe the European countries deserve this opportunity and will be an important innovation. It will be a prerequisite for a common European education and labour market policy. The system will also improve integration of the European labour market and improve the economy.

Types of partners you are looking for

The project will be anchored in the research foundation TISIP, which is a border institution for NTNU. TISIP has a long experience with EU and EEA projects and has already some relevant partners. We will cooperate with innovative professional environments in Norway and in other European countries. We are searching technological partners at universities, research institutes and businesses.
