The Higher Diploma in Psychology is a one year, full-time course offered by the Department of Psychology for those who have a General Degree with Psychology as a major area of study, but do not possess a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree. During their studies students will do 60 ECTS in Psychology including a dissertation. In combination with the first degree, the Higher Diploma in Psychology enables students to apply for postgraduate studies in psychology, including a professional training Masters’ course in Psychology, thus opening the way to become a professional psychologist.
