DESCRIPTION Students reading for the BA Honours degree in Social Administration or in Social Work are assigned a dissertation to be carried out under tutorial supervision. The exercise provides the student with an opportunity to examine a selected area in depth and to understand the relationship between theory, empirical research and practice.
The title and proposal of the dissertation should be submitted to the co-ordinator, normally in the second semester of the second year. The dissertation is to be submitted for examination not later than the first academic day of January of the final year.
