Key information

The registration fees for DegreePlus units are applicable to all students. Degree Plus units are offered against a registration fee of EUR 15 per unit with the exception of the following units for which the registration fee is EUR 5 per unit:

  • DGP0601 Work with Student Organisations
  • DGP0991 Work Placements
  • DGP0828 Gym
  • DGP0001 Get Recognized/Other Activities

No registration fee is applicable on Voluntary Work Registrations:

  • DGP0201 Voluntary work
  • DGP0205 Voluntary work summer
  • DGP0210 Voluntary work abroad
  • DGP0220 Reaching Out 1: Befriending and Befriended
  • DGP0221 Reaching Out 2: Befriending and Befriended
  • DGP0260 Para Sport Outreach and Volunteering

No registration fee is applicable for the following degreeplus units as they are sponsored through ESLP - Erasmus+:

  • DGP0846 Move to the beat
  • DGP0862 Lacrosse and Tag Rugby
  • DGP0863 Frisbee, Handball and Tchoukball

Following registration, you will receive an email from with the fees due (if applicable). Please follow the link provided to complete the online payment.

Degreeplus sessions academic year 2021/2022 semester 1 are the following:

Wednesdays: 27th October, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th November, 1st, 15th December 2021 and 5th January 2022 from 12pm till 2pm.

Fridays: 29th October, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th November, 3rd, 10th, 17th December 2021 from 12pm till 2pm.

Venue to be confirmed by email. 

Kindly note that some units may have changes in the time table, you'll be informed by email from the Degreeplus office.

Registration period for 1st year students is from Wednesday 13th October 2021 till Wednesday 20th October 2021 via Esims.

All other students are to send an email on from Wednesday 13th October 2021 till Wednesday 20th October 2021 quoting the ID number and DGP code.

Are you involved in any kind of extra-curricular activity which is not offered in the DegreePlus course programme? Would you like your work to be recognised and listed in your official University Transcript and on the DegreePlus certificate?

All you need to do is to fill in the DegreePlus activities attendance form (Forms section) and send it to showing that you have completed 16 hours in a semester, to be countersigned by an official/tutor/mentor. This application needs to be approved by DegreePlus.

Important: Remember that your activity will be recognised by DegreePlus is being offered and administered by third parties. The University of Malta shall not be held responsible for the content and/or delivery of such units and shall not be held liable for any claims, demands or actions that may arise out of the content and/or delivery of these units.
