Study at your own pace

Ever wished to immerse yourself in an area of study that fascinates you but never had the opportunity to do so?

Well, now the Centre for the Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) is offering you the chance to do so.

The Programme in the Liberal Arts and Sciences (PLAS) offered by CLAS is an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development. It enables prospective students to follow ‘stand-alone’ units from a broad range of areas in the arts and sciences. In this way, students have the opportunity to study at their own pace and accumulate credits to achieve a Certificate, a Diploma, a Higher Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, without any limits of time.

PLAS Units consist of weekly evening lectures held between 18:00 and 20:00, normally spread over 14 weeks. Applicants are free to choose any and as many PLAS units as they wish.

As of next February, up till June 2020, you can choose study Shakespeare, Maltese, Sustainable Development, Sexual and Gender diversity, Consumer Rights and Protection, and many other subjects… Additionally, CLAS is offering those with a flair for IT, to enrich themselves in two ‘Get Qualified’ certified PLAS Tech Units, which include Software Test Automation & Continuous Integration, and Video Game Design & Development with Unity.

All you need to do is to go to the CLAS website to find all the information on the individual units and their fees.

Applications are now open till 3 February 2020.
