Melita Theologica 67.1 (2017) - € 8

Volume 67 Issue 1 of Melita Theologica has just been published by the Faculty of Theology. It is a special issue on “Mercy Towards Immigrants. Gospel and Society in Dialogue” edited by Rev. Dr Martin Micallef and Rev. Dr John Berry.  The edition includes the Proceedings of an Interfaculty Symposium co-ordinated by Rev. Dr Stefan Attard and Dr Pauline Dimech and held at the eighteenth century palace of Villa Francia on 6 June 2016.

This was one of the research projects launched by the Faculty of Theology for the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy (2016) which was inaugurated by Pope Francis to celebrate God’s merciful and compassionate love. The edition contains 8 papers by academic staff members from various Faculties of our University that sought to address areas that are of immediate concern to immigrants: the identity issue, social welfare, health, justice, and education.

Melita Theologica is a biennial, peer-reviewed, international journal, supported by an international board of reviewers with high level expertise in the field. It can be purchased at the Faculty of Theology ( for € 8.
