AQUINAS LECTURE - Għaqda Studenti tat-Teologija and the Faculty of Theology hold an annual public lecture in honour of Saint Thomas Aquinas. The upcoming Aquinas Lecture will be held on Wednesday 18 March 2020.

FACULTY CELEBRATIONS - Three Faculty celebrations mark our annual calendar: the Faculty Day and two social events at the beginning and end of the academic year.The upcoming beginning-of-year celebration will be held on Monday 14 October 2019 at the University Chaplaincy. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 18:00, followed by a pizza buffet. Current and past students, along with family and friends are invited to join at a fee of 12 euro per person. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - Every year, our Faculty holds a two-day international conference in Malta. The theme of last conference, held between 10-11 May 2019, was 'Reconsidering Transcendence. Between Presence and Absence'.  

PHILOSOPHY CONFERENCE - The Department of Philosophy is holding a conference on 'Engaging the Contemporary: The Philosophical Turn Towards Religion' between 7-8 November 2019 at the University of Malta (Valletta Campus).

PUBLIC LECTURES - Throughout the year, local and external academics are invited to deliver public lectures according to their expertise

RESEARCH SEMINARS - The Department of Fundamental and Dogmatic Theology organises monthly research seminars open to students, staff and the general public. The seminars are held on a Wednesday afternoon from 16:00 to 17:00.

WOMEN IN THEOLOGY - Close to International Women's Day, our Faculty celebrates the contribution of women in theology and society. This year's Women in Theology event was held on Thursday 7 March at the University Chapel.
