Master of Arts in Bioethics

Opening: October 2019
Duration: 6 semesters part-time (evening).
Mode of study: 2 years taught and 1 year research

The Master of Arts in Bioethics is intended to foster the development of a culture respectful of bioethics by enabling a systematic and critical understanding of the theoretical foundations of this area, its methodology, and other themes such as: law and policy; edges of human life and the best interests of the child; research ethics; suffering and palliative care; justice and resource allocution; emerging european values; neuroethics and psychiatry; and genetics. The M.A. in Bioethics aims at empowering students for ethical decision and policy-making relevant to their professional practice.

This programme is recommended for:
-    healthcare professionals and administrators;
-    philosophers, academics and educators;
-    psychologists, social workers, lawyers;
-    pastoral ministers and members of the clergy.
