Master of Arts in Family Ministry

Opening: October 2018
Duration: 6 semesters part-time (evening).
Mode of study: 2 years taught and 1 year research

The Master of Arts in Family Ministry is intended to empower committed members of the Christian community and others interested in engaging in family ministry. The programme focuses on several related themes such as: Christian perspectives on the human person; Maltese society and culture; contemporary trends regarding marriage and family; civil and canonical legislation on marriage; theology and spirituality of the family, pastoral counselling, supervision and management; and case studies of family ministry.

This programme is recommended for:
-    those interested or involved in the courses of preparation for marriage;
-    counsellors, psychologist, family therapists and social workers;
-    committed members, especially leaders, of the Christian community;
-    members of the clergy
