DESCRIPTION Since World War II, Biblical Scholars have become increasingly sensitive to the alleged presence of Anti-Semitism in the New Testament. The aim of this course is to probe the historical, sociological, and theological dimension of this problem by studying some of Paul’s Letters, the Gospel of Matthew, Luke-Acts, and the Fourth Gospel. Special attention will also be given to the charges against the Jews in the Writings of some of the Church Fathers.
