Research & Projects
Members from our department collaborate closely with international colleagues from a number of universities in Europe and the USA. Research covers a variety of aspects including the Prehistoric Mediterranean, connectivity in the ancient world, maritime archaeology, biblical archaeology and the archaeological sciences. Together with academics and researchers from the CNRS in France, Ghent University in Belgium, the Universities of Belfast and Cambridge in the UK, Harvey Mudd and CALPOLY in the USA, our staff members have developed a number of fieldwork projects. These are proving to be of major benefit to all involved including our undergraduate and postgraduate students as these provide varied fieldwork opportunities.
