Before joining the University of Malta, Donia was part of the operations team within one of the leading firms in Malta for professional, fiduciary and financial support services. During those five years Donia gained a sound knowledge in VAT and corporation tax law for a number of jurisdictions. Donia also worked as an auditor for a number of years within a medium sized audit firm.
Within the Project Support Team at the University of Malta, Donia manages a number of projects, particularly ENPI CBC programme projects Heland and Jellyrisk. She joined the finance team as Senior Project Support Officer in July 2012 and is in charge of projects from contract award to final reporting and post closure.
