Welcome to the Department of Psychology

The Department is responsible for teaching and researching within the areas of general psychology, human relationships and mental health. Our mission is to train undergraduates and postgraduates in the scientific understanding of the human mind and human relationships. The programmes offered by the Department at both undergraduate and post graduate level reflect related and interdisciplinary fields. These include:

• Bachelor in Psychology (Honours)
• Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) (Offered at the University of Malta Gozo Campus)
• Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Communications, etc (Degrees with Psychology as a Major Area of Study)
• Higher Diploma in Psychology
  
• Diploma in Facilitating Inclusive Education
• Master in Psychology

Our programmes are delivered by enthusiastic and talented staff members who are leaders in their areas of interest both locally and abroad. Members of staff work as government consultants, are prominent members on local and international professional executive committees and have a high profile in research.
