Welcome to the Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development

The Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development was set up to promote social sustainability and conduct interdisciplinary research in areas related to sustainable development and climate change, including mitigation and adaptation. It focuses on the use of telemetry, IT tools, intelligent systems and modelling for monitoring, research, decision support and strategic planning and aims to transfer knowledge and raise awareness of initiatives on sustainable development and climate change with enterprise and organisations through, for example, cleaner technologies. The main aim of the Institute is to create initiatives and conduct research that enhances Malta's quality of life.

The Institute maintains an up to date website with all its initiatives and events. Anyone interested can visit our website as well as the Annual Reports which are published online here.
