Kids on Campus 2023

Summer school, Kids on Campus, will start on the 10 July and run for 8 weeks, including Santa Maria week, till the 1 September. 

Online registrations open on the 10th of April and will be on a first come first serve basis. Details with regards to prices and the programme will be uploaded closer to the date of registration. 

Kids on Campus is a University-based summer programme that caters for children who are 3 (by 1 July) and 14 years. Kids on Campus has developed a reputation for promoting and supporting children’s creativity through their direct engagement resulting from highly-interactive activities, thus enabling them to meet challenges and develop problem-solving skills. 

 

The online registration form for Kids on Campus 2023 will be uploaded next Monday, 10th April in the morning, for the 5 day week as well as for the 3 day week. It will be found here.

Payments, excluding outings, for this year will be as follows:

Registration form A

5 day week first child - 365 euro

5 day week siblings - 350 euro

3 day week first child - 200 euro

3 day week siblings - 185 euro

Registration form B

5 day week first child - 400 euro

5 day week siblings - 385 euro

3 day week first child - 225 euro

3 day week siblings - 210 euro

Payments will need to be submitted online.

 

Form A is to be submitted by UM council appointed employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week. And,

Form B is to be submitted by all who are not UM council appointed employees who do NOT work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Activities, as in previous years, will be varied and will include, arts and crafts, water games, athletics, swimming, badminton, cooking, science and brainbox, dancing... This year I also wish to introduce chess to children over 8. All this, apart from the weekly outing for each class.

Classrooms open at 07:30 and children need to be dropped off before 08:15, when the first activity starts. Pick up time is between 13:10 and 13:30. Supervision, at a minimal extra cost for the whole summer, is offered between 07:00 and 07:30 and between 13:30 and 14:00. You will apply for this service via the same registration form. 

Transport from home to university and back can be provided if needed. Should you wish to avail yourself of this service, you will need to fill in a separate form whose link you will find on the registration form. Those of you who fill in the form for transport will then be contacted by the transport provider with further details.

Based on a learning through play philosophy, Kids on Campus offers a fun-packed programme full of activities including science, drama, music and dance, sports and games, brainbox, outings, swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, robotics and more fun activities.

All activities are delivered by highly dedicated and suitably professional staff. Kids on Campus runs for eight weeks, five days a week.

Activities are held on campus between 07:30 and 13:30 but parents may avail themselves of the facility of leaving their children from 13:30 to 14:00 at an extra cost.
